A special day in Trinidad and Tobago as it marks the 179th Anniversary of the arrival of the first group of Indian immigrants to the shores of the country in 1845. High Commissioner, Dr. Pradeep Rajpurohit started the day with participation in Indian Arrival Day celebrations organized by the Cultural Heritage Ambassadors of Trinbago (CHAT) with a diverse range of proud Indian Diaspora including Mr. Mahindra Maharaj, President, CHAT, Mr. Chandresh Sharma, Former Minister of Local Government, Mr. Surujdeo Mangaroo, Vice President NCIC, Mr. Jaspal Bhogal, Renowned consultant and contractor.
