The First group of Indians arrived Trinidad on May 30, 1845 in the ship Fatel Razack. The Indian arrival Day is a national holiday in Trinidad & Tobago and is celebrated all over the country with great enthusiasm to recognise the courage and resilience of their forefathers for the perilous journey from India.
