CBEC REFORMS FOR ENHANCING THE PASSENGER SATISFACTION LEVELS AT THE AIRPORT.

The Central Board of Excise & Customs (CBEC) has released a multi-lingual mobile Apps under the name “Indian Customs-Guide to Travellers” to facilitate international passengers about Baggage Rules. English version of the app is already available on the three platforms-Android Play Store, Windows & Apple Store. It is now available in Hindi and in three other regional languages. It contains 24X7 contact details of customs officers of major Airports. It is ready reckoner of the customs baggage rules and entitlement of passengers coming from various countries. The application provides information to users as per their need. After installations of app on smart phones, it works in offline mode.
