Exchange of visits:

1. A. From India: 

1. 1. Shri S. Gandhiselvan, MoS for Health & Family Planning (AYUSH) visited Trinidad & Tobago in October 2012, in the context of bilateral cooperation in the area of traditional medicine.

2. 2. Mrs. Krishna Tirath, MoS for Women and Child Development, visited Trinidad & Tobago in May-June 2013.

3. 3. Smt. Chandresh Kumari Katoch, Minister of Culture led a 3-member delegation to Trinidad & Tobago in October- November 2013.

4. 4. Shri R. Swaminathan, Special Secretary (AMS & CPV) visited Trinidad & Tobago for bilateral talks in June 2015.

5. 5. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution paid a bilateral visit to Trinidad & Tobago in October 2016.

6. 6. Members of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Smt. Rama Devi, Shri Harish Dwivedi and Shri D.M. Mulay, Secretary (CPV & OIA) participated in the Indian Diaspora World Convention 2017 held to commemorate 100 years of abolition of indentured labourers from India (March 2017).

7. 7. Gen. (Dr.) V.K. Singh, MoS for External Affairs visited Trinidad & Tobago in April 2017.

   B.  From Trinidad and Tobago: 

1. 1. Dr. Glenn Ramadharsingh, Minister of the People and Social Development led a 4-member delegation to India (June 2013 and again in February 2014).

2. 2. Mr. Winston Peter “Gypsy”, Minister for Community Development led a 4-member delegation to attend the Surajkund Crafts Mela (January-February 2013).
